This was by far the tastiest vegetarian burger I’ve eaten. And I’m kind-hearted enough to share with me the recipe. Feta cheese goes perfectly with the sweet potato fries, whose recipes you will find at the bottom.
Quornburgare with feta (4-6)
4 tablespoons cornstarch or potato flour 1 clove garlic ½ onion ½ – 1 red chilli 1 ½ tsp dried oregano 200g feta cheese 1 teaspoon soy sauce Salt and pepper (Crumbs if you feel that the burgers are not will hold together) Finely chop the garlic and onion and fry in olive oil. Add quornfärsen and fry until it is quite dry. Allow to cool. Finely chop chilli and mix down with the remaining ingredients in a bowl. Crumble the feta cheese. Shape into patties and fry in generously with canola oil over high heat for a few minutes on both sides. crisping in the oven for 15 minutes at about 200 degrees.
Sweet Potato Fries
Desired amount of sweet potatoes (2 handed well but they were very large potatoes so use your head.)
Pepper Share the sweet potato in half, once vertically and once horizontally. Cut into equal pieces (which I failed completely). Put them in a bowl and toss around with olive oil, salt and pepper. Upload to a baking sheet with parchment paper. It is important that they are sparse (and certainly not on top of each other) so they do not steam at each other, we want them crispy! Place in the oven at about 230 degrees. Remove after 15 minutes and turn on them, way back in 10 minutes. Keep an eye on them, if you made them smaller than mine so they may have less time in the oven!
